Finn and Ludo 09

Mum Finn is demonstrating the proper way to move a newborn pup to a new location!

The boys dressed in their paper collars for their first appearance on the website.  On day one they are quite a bit larger than their sisters who seem rather dainty.

I,m not sure if she is counting heads or just feeling a bit overwhelmed at what it will take to raise them!

Golden pup is Finns at one day and cream pup is Puffs at one week.

Pups at five days old

Pups out of the whelping box, 17 days old.

The collie is a draft excluder, but it makes a lovely extra mum for the pups to cuddle up to!

Looks like its time to enlarge the bed!

I was hoping I could talk the family into trading Blythe for the puppy--she was delightful. Mum Carolyn is holding Blythe, dad Robert is holding sleepy BREAGH and Kirsty and Callum are giving their best smiles.  BREAGH will be a great addition to the family.

Blythe being kissed by Elli, Puffs litter.

Another beautiful pup heading to Scotland.  This is BONNIE, with her family Ian, Alison and Euan.  Four more children complete the family, she will also be joining a gentle german shepard and pet rats!

BONNIE was brought a pink toy, pink blanket and is wearing a pink collar, every bit the little princess.

Pat with lovely MEG.  MEG is a birthday gift to Pat's husband, can't think of anything that will bring more pleasure.

This is CAPTAIN, a very fine name for a little lad to grow into.  His very proud family are mum Julie, dad Nelson, Anna holding Captain, with Jack and Matt looking pleased to have another boy in the family.

This will be Ally and Jills first dog, she will be joining a fourteen year old cat who I suspect will not be impressed!  George and Archie are holding the little lass FUDGE.

Bear keeping a close eye on Finns pups, he would like a good romp, but does not have a great sense of his size!

Mark holding ALFIE, Helen, Laura and Chris with pups whose identity is unknown.

Chris had a wonderful way with the pups, he just sat quietly and pups fell asleep in his arms, Finn felt totally relaxed too.  He will make a fine puppy owner.

Chris with his sister Laura, it looked like they were running a fine puppy school.

Anything Mum can do, I can do too!

This photo shows the great variety in size and coats ---each one is stunning in his/her own way.

Breagh was the first pup to leave, but no photo was taken at the time so this shows her at about nine weeks with owner Robert. She is reported to be an angel and very gentle with toddler Blythe.

Breagh at about 3.5 months---the sisters all seem very alike.

Breagh and family---what a wonderful location for a dog walk.

Lovely Breagh at six months.

This is Breagh after her haircut looking identical to Tulah with the lovely white bib.

Happy first birthday to Breagh.

Breagh makes a lovely, soft pillow for little Blythe.

Little MEG will have a lovely life with her family in the Lake District.  Tulah and I hope to visit sometime in the future for a bit of sisterly play.

MEG was a gift to Pat's husband Derrick---here they are together for their first

meeting.

Meg at about 3.5 months--a real doll.  Tulah is hoping to visit her sister soon.

Oh please mum---just a sip!

CAPTAIN is the perfect name for this fellow---a real leader. Here he is with Julie and Anna----he is going to live in a community where there are at least two other Caitlin doodles---lovely to have friends to show you the ropes.

Captain at about 3.5 months. The boys started life bigger then their sisters and are continuing with that pattern----looks like Captain is at the leggy stage.

Captain enjoying his first Mr Whippy---he looks exactly like his mother---a handsome pup.

Captain--Sept 09

This is FUDGE with Jill and Alli with sons Archie and George.  The boys are very knowledgable and ready to help with the raising of this very feminine little lass.

George with the giggles while holding FUDGE---she tickles.

Fudge at about 3.5 months. She is the spitting image of her mum Finn an brother Captain.

This is Tulah and Fudge at five months.  Fudge is identical to mum Finn. Neither looking their best after a romp in and around a river!

Fudge enjoying the reflections from her dog tag---sitting in a chair that of course she was never going to be allowed to sit in!!  Doodle charm works once again!

Happy First Birthday to Fudge

Fudge at one year enjoying what is left of an igloo house.

This is little BONNIE who is a very lucky lass to be joining a family with five children/a German Shepard/and a few pet rats---should be a life full of adventure. Here she is with Alastair,Ian,Ewan being lapped by BONNIE,Alison and Mary.

Bonnie looking very relaxed with her new mate Dougal---so nice to see the start of a life long friendship.

Bonnie meeting the rats---would make a good photo to submit titles---she does look quite bemused---hope they make friends.

Bonnie is now 9kgs and 16in at the shoulder---at 3.5 months..  She and Tulah and Meg look very alike .

Bonnie and Dougal are seldom apart.

This is Bonnie at six months.  She weighs 14.5 kg(32lbs) and is about 19" at the shoulder. Word is that she charms all who meet her and is a wonderful addition to a busy family.  I think she looks perfect.

Clever Bonnie and owner Ewan----they earned their Good Citizens Bronze award.  Bonnie is eight months old----Congratulations to them both.

Bonnie wishing all a very happy holiday.

Bonnie at one year. Size means nothing when choosing your best friend.

The three musketeers sharing breakfast. Our Tulah is in the middle---big pup is Alfie and small cream in front is presently called Baby, but will have a proper name soon.

My human treasures! Son Ian--daughter Lindsey and Ian's partner Rachael. The three pups will be together for another two weeks so no worry that the house will seem too quiet.

Ah Bliss----no chilly reads for Andy!

Our smallest pup is now with Chris who thinks she will be called Rosie.  Chris has recently retired and is looking forward to long walks with her gorgeous, little lass.

This is Tizz(not Rosie!) at about six month.  I think she is gorgeous---very much like Tulah, but seems to have a nicer coat---little Tulah always looks like a mop!

The last of Finn's litter to join his family---this is Alfie with Laura and Chris.  Alfie stayed with us for an extra two weeks and we were all very sorry to see him go---he was full of fun ---Tulah misses him.

Here is Alfie---now weighing 14kgs and is about 18in at the shoulder----a big sturdy lad.

Alfie at 5 months having just had a haircut---a handsome boy. I think he must be at least double the size of Tulah if not triple!

This is handsome Alfie at six months. He weighs 22 kgs----definately the big boy of the litter.

Happy First Birthday to Alfie----A very handsome lad----he looks just like his sisters, but supersized!

This is our Tulah after her first haircut at 3.5 months. She weighs 7.6kgs and is about 15 in tall to the shoulder. She is an absolute darling.

This white racoon mask didn't show up until the haircut.

Tulah---a very messy dust mop before her haircut.

Tulah after her haircut at five months. She is so much cooler and dries quickly after her daily swims.

Being at the groomers all morning is very tiring---Tulah and mum Finn having a bit of a rest.

Tulah with her best friend Bear.  Tulah is six months and Bear about 19 months.  Very much little and large, but they are absolutely devoted to each other.

Tulah at six months weighs 9kgs and is 16" at the shoulder.  She is a very gentle little soul.  She has a cautious approach to life---perhaps that is why she is never away from Bear who throws himself headlong into everything he does---a real case of opposites attracting!
